Beads

Las bolitas de colores siempre han sido una obsesión para grandes y niños, las canicas de vidrio son mágicas, de plástico, collares brillantes, bolas de fútbol, de playa, pero las bolitas o chaquiras para collares siempre han sido hipnotizantes, por algo los españoles conquistadores nos quitaron tantas cosas a cambio de unas bolitas. Hay un gran sentido filosófico en ellas ademas de químicos, biológicos, científicos y otros, es este un tema en el que se puede tejer largo, y eso hace Natsu, tejer y entrelazar bolitas...

Artist Statement

My artwork is made of intertwined strings of beads. Beads are like atoms, the basis on which the entire world is formed. To me, the act of stringing beads is like prayer and contemplation. Through my creation, I purify myself and trace and experience the mysterious workings of the universe little by little. Creating my work reminds me of the most precious thing that I have forgotten since my birth here on earth.

Andy Warhol Factory

The Factory was Andy Warhol's original New York City studio from 1962 to 1968, although his later studios were known as The Factory as well. The Factory was located on the fifth floor at 231 East 47th Street, in Midtown Manhattan. The rent was "only about one hundred dollars a year". The building no longer exists.

Carmen Giraldez and Alice in Wonderland

Carmen Giraldez

Since her childhood she has studied painting techniques and the arts
through her father who had also painted from a very young age.
In 1996 she began to study at Llotja from Barcelona A.A.O.A. (Arts and
Crafts School) specializing in sculpture. One year later Carmen Giraldez
entered the University of Barcelona and graduated in 2002, from sculpture
and painting. She was also pupil-assistant of sculptor Marçaginer (Marça,
1918-2006).
Nowadays Giraldez works full time as a painter. She has shown her
paintings in London (UK), Barcelona (Spain), Madrid (Spain), Valencia (Spain), Bilbao
(Spain), Andorra la Vella (Andorra), Cleon d'Andran (France)...
And her art works are hanging in collections around the world: Spain,France, UK,
Kuwait, EUA, Andorra, Canada and Ireland...

Let's share art!

Teaching Arts just get me to notice that art is my obsession. I am in love of all art pursuits, I doesn't matter what is it. One day I am in love in making paper work, another one I want to design clothes, another one I want to make jewellery or illustration, just name the art and show me some sensational works and I am just in love...my problem is the lack of time to make my own work. Since I will find the time and money to start my own Factory I will collect all the work am in love in this blog.
